This is one of those blog entries where you’ll have to look for the gold. I have a bunch of thoughts rattling around my head.
~ why was my daughter dancing around naked at 3 in the morning?
~ she made a “guitar” in storytime today out of a Kleenex box and rubber bands. she also authored her first song…
Do! La! Ooo! Ah!

I’ve mentioned that I’m a mass of contradictions, if this little prompt doesn’t convince you then I don’t know what will. I got this idea from Jojo.
If you put all of your music files on random play, what are the first 10 that play?

2. “Holy” by Nichole Nordeman
3. “Stay” by Allison Kraus

The Thin Woman

I finished reading The Thin Womanby Dorothy Cannell. I really enjoyed it. It is the first book in a series of British cozies. I always enjoy British books anyway and a mystery to boot—well, I’m in book heaven.

For those of you not up on internet-ese, IMO means “In My Opinion.” I have a list of things that I’m going to say to you and they are just my opinion. None of the opinions expressed are necessarily the opinions of my readers. 😉 The majority of them are silly. But what do you expect from a woman who has had a migraine for the majority of the week. A woman who has been forced to watch tv for entertainment because it hurts her eyes to read. So here goes&…

Just Some Journaling Prompts

How old are you? (okay, if you don’t want to be specific how about a decade) I turned *gasp* 30 in December of 2003.
Where do you live? Country? Type of home? I live in an apartment in a small semi-rural town.
What do you do for a living? Or what did you do? I am a stay-at-home mom, freelance writer and am returning to college in the fall *crosses fingers and toes and and says a prayer*.

I just have to share

I haven’t completely shaken my migraine, but I finally got a hold of my medication after hassleing with the doctors and pharmacy for two days. But I was trying to catch up on my SIR when I came across this link on Naomi’s site. It was too good to not share…NOW…back to my dark cave.

Two things

(Originally published by Nattie on March 19, 2004)

  1. Thank you Di for helping my tweak my site. You are such a sweetheart. Even if you don’t keep house like Martha. 😉
  2. I’ve got a migraine. I’ve had it since Wednesday night and I’m miserable. I haven’t been able to get ahold of my doctor to get my meds so I may be heading to the emergency room today. Say a prayer if you think of it. It is not fun trying to parent when you are very sensitive to light and noise.

I Love American Idol

I’m becoming much more selective about my tv time as I get older. I don’t want to watch any old crud. I don’t like reality tv. Well, I don’t like most reality tv. I love “American Idol.”
