I’m seriously so sad about this. Much prayers to your family. Nattie, please say “Hello” to my mother for me. You both have so much in common. Rich in love and strength with a body that couldn’t support it.

Oh Nattie…Le Sniff
My prayers are with yall. Thank you for the gift of Nattie, may her spirit and spunk live on in Jonathan and Anna.

My heart rejoices for Nattie . . . oh! to wake up in the presence of the very One she loved so dearly!!! But my heart aches for her family and friends who love Nattie so dearly. (Love, not loved…the love continues, even though Nattie has moved to her Heavenly home.)
I’m thinking of the book, “90 Minutes in Heaven.” To know that Nattie is at this very moment experiencing everything written about in that book . . . A-Ma-Zing!!!
Posted by: vickig97 at June 7, 2007 01:20 PM

I’m so sorry to hear this. Nattie will be missed. Many prayers are being sent out to her fammily.
Posted by: Stephanie at June 7, 2007 01:24 PM

I am sooo soooo sad…my heart is breaking for our loss, for you her parents, for her CHILDRENS loss.
I KNOW that being face to face with the LORD of LORD and KING of KINGS, she NO LONGER needs the faith that we sooo desparately need right now, for she SEES Him who has LOVED her and for His own reasons, beyond ours, has called her home.
I PRAY for her precious children and that God will, who is ABLE and WILLING, redeem and reap glorious treasure and blessing from this for Himself and them.
To Him who is able to do abundantly ABOVE ALL that we could ask or think…we rest in You oh Lord and trust, knowing that You are in control of ALL that we dont understand and cant wrap our human brains and hearts around. We stand firmly before the throne, in all our emotions, loving and trusting You.
Posted by: Cynthia at June 7, 2007 01:27 PM

I left the other comment before I saw this. I am so sorry…my prayers will continue for your sweet family.
Love,
Blue

Words can’t express my sadness at losing the fight to the cancer.
Words can’t express my joy for her gain at standing before the Lord whole and healed.
Prayers for all of you…cheers of praise for Nattie beating us all there. She can help show us around up there one day. You know she will be grand at that.

Thanks to Natalie for all the fun talks we had while doing nursery duty at church. Had you only been able to go on the mission trip with me to New Orleans last year, so I would have gotten to know you better. As I observed your sweet spirit at church, you truly were a woman of God. I am honored to have known you. You will always remain in my mind and in my heart.
Posted by: Dee at June 7, 2007 02:57 PM

My heart aches for each of you who have lost such a wonderful and dear friend. I pray for Peace and Comfort to wrap it’s arms around you and carry you through this time. May the Lord of all life bless each of you this day with the Hope that comes from knowing Him.
Because He lives …. B.

Nattie, I’m so glad that you’re not suffering or in pain anymore. I love you so so much – and cannot WAIT until we get to dance around the throne together.
To Nattie’s family: my heart is absolutely broken for you all. I just cannot express how sorry I am for your loss. I’m praying for Anna & Jonathan, and for you ALL to be held in perfect comfort and peace as you mourn the passing of your sweet Nattie.
Much love,

I am so so sorry for you tremendous loss. I know Nattie is in the presence of our Saviour, which brings comfort. But I know it’s still so hard & this will be so difficult for her children & parents. I will continue to pray for you all.

To Nattie’s Family, I am so sorry for the pain that your hearts must endure.
To Nattie..Run free without pain, and know that those left behind will be alright. After all, they have a wonderful guardian angel now.
Posted by: kim at June 7, 2007 04:06 PM

Words are empty, but as I told Nattie, words are all I have to offer. Nattie was the most beautiful spirit. I spent the last 5 years or so watching as she healed and grew and was recreated. She has always been pure joy in my life, and her memory will always bring me joy.
Posted by: Heather at June 7, 2007 04:30 PM

I’m so stunned. Nattie Pie, I love you, sweetie. Rest in the arms of Jesus, honey.
Posted by: Amy Jo at June 7, 2007 04:51 PM

Peace has come over Natalie’s body and her pain is no more. She is in Heaven with God eternally and always watching us from above.
She got her ocean now and forever. I pray for all of you, her family and for Jonathan and Anna. May God wrap you in His love and understanding. If you need anything, please let us know. The church family is ready and willing to do anything and everything. Natalie was always ready to jump in and help and she so loved the Lord, it showed in all she did and said. I am truly blessed to know her and I will carry her courage and love in my heart always.

My dear cousin, I will miss you. I will miss not getting to know you better. You are definitely in a better place with your Lord and Saviour. May God pour comfort on the family. I will continue to pray for your children, Aunt Mary, Wes and Uncle Geoff.

I sit here not knowing really anything to say. I’m not crying for Nattie, but for those of us who grieve for her…especially her children whom I know had no rival in her love. To Nattie’s parents, I can only say how strong a testimony was she to the love and direction you provided her. I’m very glad to have known Nattie, although only via cyberspace. She supported me in prayers often, and I can only hope that my prayers supported her.

Dear Nattie,
I miss you, sweet-tart. I can’t imagine the loss or grief your family feels right now but please know we are praying for your children and your parents.
In my mind’s eye, I see you sitting next to your overflowing bookcases in your cute little apartment. You sure knew how to fill up on reading material. I miss your saucy little retorts and witty one-liners and the perfect mixture of sweet and tart that made you who you were.
I’ll never forget you.

I am sorry for your loss. I first met Nattie in a yahoo writing group a number of years ago and that’s how I found the W.A.H. group. I was very inspired by her writing and impressed with her willingness to share her faith. Nattie greatly impacted my life!

To Nattie’s family and friends: Nattie was indeed special and touched my heart – not an easy thing to do across the miles of cyberspace, and yet she did; which speaks to her heart and the kindness she poured out and her light, which was so bright. I have no doubt that Nattie is with God. Please know I am praying for strength for you to deal with her loss. And know, she made a difference and will be missed. Nattie we love you!

I’m sitting here in tears stunned – I so thought Nattie would pull through… I prayed and believed for her healing here on earth, not up in heaven.
My heart, prayers and thoughts go out to Jonathan and Anna, and also to her parents who have sat by her side through it all and kept us updated, and the remainder of her family and friends.
God bless

I too am a blogger “friend” and only recently really got to “know” Nattie when she joined my reading challenge and chose 5 books that said something about her…
I’ve been following this horrifying turn of events and not commenting because it’s a strange situation to find oneself in — having a “friend” that you feel so much for, but have never met.
Now I’ll just say to her family – thanks for keeping us updated here and my heart and prayers go out to you in this sad, sad time.
Thank goodness we all believe that Nattie is safe in Heaven this morning. What a lovely comfort and I hope it helps you get through this.
Posted by: Lisa at June 8, 2007 11:53 AM

I will miss you Nattie. So much.

I’ve known Nattie online for probably 5 years or so. She was part of our Christian Journaling group (before WAH, book challenges and the like!). I was shocked to hear the news. Saddened for those left behind who knew her beautiful spirit. Saddened for her children and her family. But heaven is richer for our loss. Nattie Rose, we love you!
